Starting Integrative Psychiatry Institute's Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy program in January 2022. Would also like to join their Ketamine Medical Provider program soon thereafter, but it costs a pretty penny.

Hi Sharon. I'm trained as a PsychNP. I enrolled in the Integrative Psychiatry Institute's Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy program. However, I think their Ketamine Medical Provider training would be more appropriate, and I do plan to enroll in that one also. The ketamine training is more medically focused, whereas the psychedelic program seems more counseling-based. There was mention of a ketamine certification exam being ready from ASKP3 this year, but it appears that it hasn't been created yet.

I'm Nici. I'm currently an RN and PMHNP student. I've been working in psychiatry for a decade. I'm interested in further training with psychedelic therapies and functional medicine. It has been thrilling to see the progress with psychedelics unfold in the last several years. My goal is to work in this field in the clinical setting.
