Kate Pate, PhD

CEO & Founder of Coruna Medical, LLC

Dr. Kate Pate is a neurophysiologist, athlete, entrepreneur, and coach dedicated to helping struggling service members, veterans, and first responders. She advocates for and educates on functional and non-traditional approaches to mental, physical, and spiritual health. Kate is a Board Member of the Psychedelic Medicine Association, and she was the Director of Research for Heroic Hearts Project but recently stepped down to free up more time for her role as an official integration coach for the organization. In addition to coaching, Kate is also the CEO & Founder of Coruna Medical, LLC, a military-specific medical device company focused on solving the difficult problems facing the injured warfighter, especially as these problems pertain to administering medical care in austere environments. Kate comes from a military family and has always been passionate about finding ways to help those who serve others. Her primary objectives are to help people find the path to healing that works best for them, to change the narrative around how we discuss psychedelics and health in our communities, and ultimately, to remove the stigmas associated with psychedelic use, mental health diagnoses, and asking for help.

Kwasi Adusei, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Cofounder, Psychedelic Society of Western New York

Dr. Kwasi Adusei is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and co-founder of the Psychedelic Society of Western New York, out of which he developed a local psychedelic harm reduction organization. Kwasi is a trainee of the MAPS sponsored MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and was part of the first ever therapists of color cohort. He intends to bring this work into underserved communities.

Rebecca Kronman, LCSW

Founder, Plant Parenthood

Rebecca Kronman, LCSW is a licensed therapist and founder of Plant Parenthood, a digital and in-person community of parents who use psychedelics. She is also an assisting trainer with Fluence, a company that trains healthcare practitioners in harm reduction informed psychedelic preparation and integration. At her private practice in Brooklyn, she works with creative professionals using mindfulness and experiential techniques to address depression, anxiety and life transitions. She also helps clients prepare for psychedelic experiences, incorporate insights or cope with challenges post-experience. Selected trainings include Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness for Clinicians, Psychedelics 101 & 102 and Beyond Experience Psychedelic Integration Workshop.

Reid Robison, MD, MBA

Chief Medical Officer at Novamind/Co-founder at Cedar Psychiatry

Dr. Reid Robison is a board-certified psychiatrist and Chief Medical Officer at Novamind. Reid is co-founder at Cedar Psychiatry and serves as Medical Director of Center for Change, a top Eating Disorder program. He is currently the coordinating investigator for the MAPS MDMA-assisted Psychotherapy study of Eating Disorders. Reid is adjunct faculty at the University of Utah, founder of the Polizzi Free Clinic, and provides medical support and psychedelic therapy at plant medicine retreats abroad.

The Psychedelic Medicine landscape changes so quickly that it’s hard to keep up—that’s why the Psychedelic Medicine Association has you covered with the latest findings in psychedelic research! 

This month we wanted to do something different to make keeping up-to-date on all things psychedelic medicine related extra fun by hosting a game night—and thus was born Psychedelic Jeopardy!

There will be questions.

There will be answers.

And, maybe most importantly, there will be PRIZES!

Psychedelic Jeopardy, like our meet-and-greets, will be a cameras on event, so you can network and meet other members while you participate in the quiz show fun!
